Lynda interned for a law firm when she was 15 - you’ll see why this is significant later.

She learned bookkeeping from a friend’s Aunt, left that firm and worked at another company that used Peachtree.

Then she worked with a firm that used One Write Plus

Then she joined Michelle Long’s group and then she started following little ol me!

Lynda started with Rhode Island Bookkeeping, but ultimately she was not happy there. She was doing it as a side gig (before the gig economy) working on Sat & Sunday.

We start our businesses for the Freedom: To choose whom we work with.

More importantly to choose whom we DON’T want to work with.

Lynda left Rhode Island to move into what was going to be just a winter home in Fla.

In 2008 her son died in a car accident. He struggled with drug addiction. Lynda was handling her bookkeeping clients even from Fla then (by shoving papers in a Fedex Envelope).

But she wanted to get away from the reminders of what happened to her son. Then her husband decided to make the move too and they sold their home in Rhode Island to become permanent residents in Fla.

The trauma of losing her son

You’re stunned and your life changes completely.

Everything you thought you knew before is now different.
